Whilst working as a child psychiatrist, I kept thinking about all those people not only in the United Kingdom but across the world, who do not have access to psychiatric services, mental health professionals or mentors. I have benefitted greatly from many people who have mentored, supported and taught me. The support and learning I received from them, helped me navigate many difficult periods in my life. I am however aware that I have been blessed and unfortunately not everyone gets such a support. It is my humble wish to empower people all over the world who want to help themselves or others but do not know where to start and have limited access to professional help or resources.
Vision
My vision is for a world with healthy and resilient youth that illuminate their societies with the light of God.
Mission
My mission with this blog is…
“To conquer adversities with unwavering resilience.”
“To inspire and empower others to overcome adversities through resilience, enabling them to reach their full potential.”
What do I mean by?
Healthy: Physically, mentally, emotionally.
Resilient: Strong, able to deal with the challenges and tribulations of life whether physical, financial or emotional.
To protect from future problems: These include mental health, behavioural and relationship problems.
